Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

Prosciutto Wrapped Fig Hearts

Serving Size 12 pieces

Ingredients

  • 12 Figs

  • 12 pieces prosciutto

  • ½ cup goat cheese, cold

  • Fresh Thyme

  • Honey

  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Cut each fig in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to gently scoop out a little center flesh to make room for filling.

  3. Fill each fig half with about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese. Wrap each fig half with half a slice of prosciutto, tucking the end underneath so it holds.

  4. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  5. Drizzle lightly with honey and place thyme throughout the sheet. Roast 8–10 minutes until the prosciutto crisps and the cheese begins to melt.

  6. Finish with cracked black pepper and serve warm.
